After shelving in the sheds, shelving in the house...

After my successful foray into shelving in the shed, it was decided that my next task (as decreed by Elizabeth, the planner of all things related to keeping the old house in good repair) would be to cover an entire odd trapezoidal wall with booksheles so that as much space as poppsible was useful for storage space.

I came up with an unorthodox idea, inspired in part by somethign I'd seen Elizabeth do in a house she usd to live in, where the slope of some shelves was related to the slope of the ceiling. So i cage it a shot, and here is the product - which everyone loved!

At some later point in time, I was asked to make a spare table for the BBQ/Grill out on the back deck. There wasn't ever quite enough space for prep work, staging, etc., so I came up with a way to add a few simple square feet of table area easily and conveniently.

Since this was going to go down to VA on a weekend I wasn't ging to be there, I tried to make it as easy as possible to assemble, but somethign wasn't clear so I had to put it together myself on a later visit.

And because the dog needs somewhere to live when it's wet outside, or it's cold:

Next, of couse, is a tile countertop!
